Welcome to Herve Lemaitre’s website, researcher in neuroimaging at Paris-Sud/Paris-Saclay University trying to make sense of cerebral imaging, brain, human and life in general.
Research:
Since my thesis, I have investigated factors affecting brain development during childhood, adolescence and aging such as sex, genetic variations (e.g. APOE, FGF20, PBRM1) and neuropsychiatric conditions (e.g. autism, schizophrenia, depression). I relied for this work mainly on using multimodal neuroimaging approaches combining – Diffusion Imaging (Tract-Based Spatial Statistics and Tractography) – Structural Imaging (Voxel-based and Surface-based Morphometry) – and Functional Imaging (Arterial Spin Labeling and Blood Oxygenation Level-Dependent fMRI).
